Tres Dias Portugal is a non-profit ecumenical Christian ministry. We do not sell commercial products or services. Amounts collected through this site relate to: (i) Pilgrim and Team registration fees to attend a 72-hour retreat weekend; (ii) recurring monthly Legacy Partner contributions; and (iii) one-time freewill donations.
Current prices are always shown on the Giving page.
Payments are processed through a third-party payment services provider (currently transitioning to IfthenPay), which accepts card, Multibanco, and MB WAY. We do not store payment card data on our own servers. Donations may also be made by direct bank transfer, using the account details listed on the Giving page.
Weekend dates are published in advance on the Weekends page. Registration may be completed up to approximately 12 months before the relevant weekend date; the service (the weekend itself) is performed on the specific published date.
All amounts paid are non-refundable. Pilgrim and Team registration fees are applied directly to the real costs of hosting the weekend.
If extenuating circumstances prevent a registered Pilgrim or Team member from attending, the amount paid may, at the discretion of Tres Dias Portugal, be carried forward as credit toward a future weekend. Contact us as soon as possible at geral@tresdias.pt.
Freewill offerings and Legacy Partnership contributions are donations — acts of liberality under Article 940 of the Portuguese Civil Code — not the purchase of a good or service. For this reason, they are final and non-refundable once made, independently of the right-of-withdrawal regime discussed in Section 6, which does not apply to donations.
Legacy Partnership subscriptions may nonetheless be cancelled at any time for future charges — contact us at geral@tresdias.pt. This does not constitute a refund, only the cessation of subsequent charges.
Under the general terms of Decreto-Lei n.º 24/2014, of 14 February, consumers ordinarily have a 14-day period to freely withdraw from a distance contract. However, weekend registration includes lodging reserved for a specific date, with fixed capacity that cannot be resold on short notice. Under Article 17(1)(k), the right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of accommodation, nor to services related to leisure activities, where the contract provides for a specific date or period of execution — as is the case here. In these cases, the Cancellation & Refund Policy described in Section 5 applies instead. This exception applies exclusively to Pilgrim and Team registration fees; it does not apply to donations or Legacy Partnership subscriptions, whose non-refundable nature instead follows from the donation rules described in Section 5.
How your personal data is processed is described in our Privacy Policy.
Under Lei n.º 144/2015, of 8 September, we inform you that, in the event of a consumer dispute, you may turn to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR/RAL) entity. As there is currently no regional consumer arbitration centre with specific territorial jurisdiction over the municipality of Torres Vedras, the applicable entity is the national-scope centre:
CNIACC — National Centre for Consumer Dispute Information and Arbitration
www.cniacc.pt · geral@cniacc.pt
More information about RAL entities is available on the Consumer Portal: www.consumidor.gov.pt.
Under Decreto-Lei n.º 156/2005, of 15 September, we provide an Electronic Complaints Book. You may submit your complaint here.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the last-updated date indicated above.
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. The court of the comarca where the Association's registered seat is located has jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to the consumer's right under applicable law to bring proceedings before the court of their own domicile.
